Applicant must be a resident of Fort Bend County
Applicant must be currently enrolled or accepted into two or four year college or university or an accredited vocational school which has been approved and accredited by the State of Texas.  Transcript must be submitted with application. If accepted but have not begun work toward degree, applicant should submit letter of acceptance.
Applicant must have financial need, as interpreted by the Beneficiary Review Committee; two letters of recommendation (from non family members) and submit an essay

Applicant must submit a Supervisor Recommendation Form. 
Applicant must submit a copy of a high school transcript.

Selection is based on financial need and academic ability. Available to graduating seniors of high schools in the following counties: Harris, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Liberty, Montgomery and Waller. You must be a United States citizen to apply.

Request information in writing, identifying yourself as a high school senior and provide the name of your high school; or after August 15 of your senior year, download that year&#039;s application from their web site.
