Providing crisis intervention, case management, counseling, educational outreach, job placement assistance, housing assistance, and whatever is needed to help a survivor of domestic violence or sexual assault become safe and self-sufficient. To be eligible for programs, clients must be survivors of domestic abuse(physical, emotional, verbal) or sexual assault. Work to help women and their children remain self-sufficient so that they never have to return to an abusive relationship.

Trained volunteers serve as Guardians ad Litem (CASA Volunteers) to provide advocacy for children in the foster care system. Clinical staff provides forensic interviews and free therapy to child victims of abuse.

Classes for Basic Literacy, ESL, GED Preparation, Citizenship Preparation, Computer Skills, Adult Literacy Skills

English-as-a-2nd-language for adults (18+) In homes where the parents do NOT speak English, the children are at higher risk of dropping out. Parents can't help with or monitor homework; can't communicate with teachers, and thus don't have the ability to effectively prevent dropping out.
