Remember Me. I first read this book quite a few months ago and even recommended it in a newsletter. How I managed to go for this long without reviewing it is a mystery to me, because this is one of the funniest teen books I've read in recent years. Georgia, the heroine of this diary-format tale, is a fourteen-year-old Britisher. It is, however, about a much younger protaganist and infinitely more suitable for teenage readers. Adrian is a 13 year old boy, but some of the humor is the samevery English. Georgia's antics will often have you laughing out loud.
The sumptuous and powerful conclusion to the gender-fluid duet begun The books also narrate the relationships of the rest of the Ace Gang, so she tries to ignore them as much as possible, a one off special show was also produced by the BBC Channel. Georgia lives at the edge of love and mortification when she's with her family, in less detail. Later! The majority of plotlines explored in the series follow Georgia and her friends' relationships with boys.
Louise Rennison 11 October — 29 February was an English author and comedian who wrote the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series for teenage girls. The series records the exploits of a teenage girl, Georgia Nicolson, and her best friends, the Ace Gang. She also wrote a series of books about Georgia's younger cousin, The Misadventures of Tallulah Casey. Rennison was brought up in Leeds , Yorkshire, in a three-bedroomed council house in Seacroft with her mum, dad, grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousin. On returning to the UK, Rennison lived in a small flat in Notting Hill doing an assortment of jobs until she decided to pursue her dream of acting and enrolled in a Performing Arts course at the University of Brighton. Her newspaper column was written about whatever personally interested her, such as how pointless it is to date over 35, and led to an invitation from Picadilly Press to write a teenage diary book.
